My Mixed Media Painting comes from over 40 years experience in developing my work and techniques.

The inspiration for my pieces comes from both imagination & actual locations.

My Process

I start with one of my original Acrylic on Canvas pieces. (The majority of my originals have previously been sold and prices have ranged from $10,500-$15,500 each).

The piece is then reproduced on canvas via a Large Format Giclée Printer. Each Giclée (print on canvas) is created using UV safe ink ensuring many years of vibrant lasting color.

I then personally re-create and paint over the print with acrylic paint. Each piece has it’s own personality, and I work to bring that out with color variations and texture, ensuring to keep with the fidelity of the original painting. Because I labour over each and every creation, each piece thereby qualifies as a Mixed Media Original.

Each Mixed Media Painting is developed using UV safe Giclée ink & Acrylic Paint. The painting is finished with a laminant of Polymer for added UV and chemical/abrasion resistance. The piece comes Ready to hang and is set in a classic Gallery Wrap style; (Image stretched around the edges of the canvas).
